Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams under supervision.
- Perform routine inspections of electrical panels, wiring, and outlets to ensure safety and compliance.
- Utilize hand and power tools (drills, saws, multimeters) safely and effectively.
- Help maintain a clean and organized job site, strictly adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
- Learn to troubleshoot electrical faults and identify code violations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- No prior professional experience required; training will be provided.
- Must be willing to learn and demonstrate a strong work ethic.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
- Physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs, working in tight spaces, and standing for extended periods.
- Basic math skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
