As an apprentice, you will work alongside certified journeymen, gaining hands-on experience in residential and commercial electrical projects. We offer comprehensive on-the-job training and a clear pathway to journeyman certification.
Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems.
- Learn to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
- Perform basic wiring tasks, such as running conduit and terminating wire.
- Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Use hand and power tools correctly under supervision.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
- No prior experience in electrical work is required.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Basic understanding of mathematics (helpful for measurements).
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and physical environments.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
