Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial buildings.
- Prepare work areas by gathering tools, materials, and equipment needed for the job.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams under supervision.
- Perform basic wiring tasks, such as pulling wire, stripping conductors, and terminating connections.
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with local and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Maintain a clean and safe job site at all times, including proper disposal of debris.
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members to ensure project success.
Qualifications
- No prior experience as an electrician is required; we are willing to train the right candidate.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions (heat, rain).
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation are required.
- Basic understanding of mathematics is a plus.
- Must be physically fit and able to work on ladders and in confined spaces.
- Strong desire to learn a skilled trade and commit to a career path.
