Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial properties.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project requirements.
- Perform routine inspections and safety checks to ensure compliance with local and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Prepare and handle electrical materials and tools safely and efficiently.
- Assist in troubleshooting electrical issues and identifying root causes of malfunctions.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including job sites and service vehicles.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and OSHA regulations at all times.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Experience: No prior experience required. However, a strong aptitude for math and mechanical reasoning is a plus.
- License: A valid Driver’s License is required for travel to job sites.
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn from senior team members.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time work, including occasional weekends or overtime as needed.
