Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
- Perform routine site inspections to identify potential hazards or code violations.
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
- Ensure all work areas are kept clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
- Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Install and connect electrical fixtures, outlets, and switch boxes.
- Respond to emergency service calls as directed by the supervisor.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Willingness to obtain required apprenticeship certification.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating loads.
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, and lift materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and environments.
