Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, and fixtures.
- Prepare work sites by gathering materials, tools, and equipment needed for the job.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and testing of electrical components to ensure functionality.
- Ensure all work is performed in strict accordance with local and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Must be physically able to lift heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license is a significant plus.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read measurements are required.
- A strong willingness to learn, follow instructions, and adhere to safety regulations is mandatory.
