Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to understand project requirements.
- Perform routine inspections of electrical equipment to ensure safety compliance and functionality.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment (e.g., multimeters) to complete tasks efficiently.
- Prepare job sites by laying out materials and ensuring a clean, organized workspace.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Document work completed and report any issues or material shortages to the supervisor.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred; a passion for trades is more important.
- Must be willing to obtain a State of California Electrician Certification.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- No prior electrical experience required—we provide the training!
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Reliable transportation to job sites.
