Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance in residential and commercial settings.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Perform basic electrical tasks such as stripping wire, terminating connections, and assembling electrical components.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to all OSHA and company safety protocols.
- Utilize hand and power tools correctly and safely under supervision.
- Transport materials and equipment to job sites as needed.
- Document work completed and report any safety hazards or equipment issues to supervisors immediately.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED: Required.
- Valid Driver’s License: Must be reliable and have a clean driving record.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfortable with measurements and basic arithmetic.
- Must-Have Tools: Candidates must have their own basic tool belt and work boots.
- Willingness to Learn: A positive attitude and strong desire to master the trade are essential.
- Background Check: Must pass a drug screen and background check.
