Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman and master electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Perform basic tasks such as stripping wire, installing outlets, and mounting fixtures.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
- Transport tools and materials to job sites as directed.
- Perform routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not strictly required.
- Willingness to obtain a State of Arizona Journeyman Electrician License upon completion of training.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Basic understanding of math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, fractions).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
- Strong desire to learn new skills and follow safety protocols.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
