Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, circuits, and wiring in residential and commercial buildings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to determine the layout of wiring and equipment.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure safety and compliance with local codes.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Ensure all work adheres to National Electrical Code (NEC) and local safety regulations.
- Collaborate with project managers and team members to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining technical issues to clients in a clear manner.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician license in the State of California.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Familiarity with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, and lift heavy equipment regularly.
