Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians: Support senior technicians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Site Preparation: Prepare job sites by setting up ladders, scaffolding, and protecting flooring as required by safety standards.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize electrical materials, tools, and equipment for daily operations.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe working environment for everyone.
- Learning & Development: actively participate in on-the-job training to learn code compliance, blueprint reading, and circuit troubleshooting.
- Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area at all times.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Education: High school diploma or GED is preferred; technical school training is a plus.
- Driver's License: Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record are required.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time hours, including weekends and potential overtime.
- Attitude: A strong willingness to learn, a good work ethic, and the ability to follow instructions carefully.
