Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Transport tools, materials, and equipment to and from job sites, ensuring all items are accounted for and in good working condition.
- Perform basic site preparation, including digging, lifting, and organizing work areas.
- Learn to read and interpret basic blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals under supervision.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including cleaning up debris and tools after every job.
- Assist in pulling wire, fastening boxes, and installing fixtures as directed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- A valid California driver's license and clean driving record are required.
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and climb ladders or scaffolding.
- No prior electrical experience is necessary; we value attitude and work ethic over experience.
