As an apprentice, you will work alongside certified journeymen to gain hands-on experience in residential and commercial electrical projects across the Sacramento area.
Responsibilities
- Assist with Installations: Support journeyman electricians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures.
- Site Preparation: Prepare job sites by gathering necessary materials, tools, and safety equipment before work begins.
- Adhere to Safety Standards: Strictly follow OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Testing & Troubleshooting: Assist in identifying electrical faults and performing basic testing to verify system functionality.
- Site Clean-Up: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored after use.
- Documentation: Accurately complete daily logs and paperwork regarding work performed.
Qualifications
- No Experience Necessary: We are looking for motivated learners with a willingness to train.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions.
- Driver’s License: A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are required for job site travel.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfort with basic calculations and measurements is preferred.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail is essential for ensuring high-quality workmanship.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and able to work a consistent schedule.
