Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
- Perform basic wiring tasks, such as stripping wire, bending conduit, and connecting electrical boxes.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Ensure all work areas are clean, organized, and comply with safety regulations.
- Maintain and inspect electrical tools and equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Transport materials and tools to job sites as directed.
- Follow all local and national electrical codes and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating electrical loads.
- Strong desire to learn the electrical trade and obtain journeyman licensure.
- Background check and drug screen required.
