Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Prepare work areas by gathering materials, tools, and equipment.
- Run conduit and pull wire for new construction projects.
- Perform routine inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety codes.
- Keep job sites clean, organized, and safe.
- Learn to read blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams.
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred but not strictly required.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read a tape measure.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Valid Driver’s License is a plus.
- Reliable transportation to job sites.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings as needed.
