Responsibilities
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, fixtures, and control equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan project execution.
- Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, strictly adhering to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently using diagnostic tools and testing equipment.
- Communicate effectively with clients and project managers regarding progress and requirements.
- Document all work completed and maintain accurate time sheets for part-time assignments.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in residential and commercial electrical work.
- Proficiency in reading electrical plans, wiring diagrams, and blueprints.
- Strong knowledge of electrical theory, circuitry, and safety procedures.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
