Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Learn to read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical equipment.
- Ensure all work areas are kept clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
- Operate and maintain various electrical hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
- Follow strict adherence to local and national electrical codes (NEC) and company safety protocols.
- Transport materials and equipment to and from job sites as needed.
- Document work completed and report any issues or hazards immediately to supervisors.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid Driver's License is a plus.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating electrical loads.
- Physical stamina to work standing for long periods and lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and job site environments.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
