Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical drawings.
- Perform routine inspections and safety checks on electrical equipment and wiring.
- Prepare work areas by gathering necessary tools, materials, and equipment.
- Ensure all work strictly complies with local and national electrical codes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
- Strong desire to learn new skills and a positive attitude toward teamwork.
- Ability to obtain required state certifications upon completion of apprenticeship.
