Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial properties.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Perform basic wiring tasks, including pulling wire, stripping insulation, and connecting terminals.
- Ensure all work is performed in strict compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by organizing tools and materials after every job.
- Perform routine inspections of electrical equipment and fixtures to identify potential issues.
- Transport equipment and materials to and from job sites safely.
Qualifications
- No prior experience required; we are looking for eager learners.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs repeatedly and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills for calculating measurements and loads.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to obtain necessary state certification through our apprenticeship program.
