Responsibilities
- Install and Repair: Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings, ensuring code compliance.
- Diagnosis: Locate and diagnose leaks, clogs, and other plumbing issues using state-of-the-art diagnostic tools and manual inspection.
- Project Execution: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to plan and execute plumbing projects efficiently.
- Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure systems are running optimally and prevent future issues.
- Customer Service: Communicate effectively with clients, explain technical issues clearly, and provide professional service.
- Tool Management: Properly use, clean, and maintain all plumbing tools and equipment.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED is preferred; trade school certification is a plus but not mandatory.
- Experience: No prior plumbing experience required. A strong willingness to learn is essential.
- Physical Requirements: Must be physically fit to lift heavy materials, work in tight spaces, and stand for extended periods.
- License: Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are required.
- Skills: Basic math skills for measurements and the ability to follow instructions precisely.
