Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
- Prepare and organize work areas, ensuring all tools and materials are ready for the job.
- Perform basic electrical tasks such as stripping wire, bending conduit, and mounting outlets.
- Follow all safety protocols and local electrical codes to ensure a safe work environment.
- Clean up work sites after job completion to maintain high standards of housekeeping.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and schematics under supervision.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding project progress.
Qualifications
- No prior experience or formal training is required; we will train the right candidate.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculations.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and at heights.
- Strong desire to learn and advance within the electrical trade.
