Responsibilities
- Install and Maintain: Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with local codes and regulations.
- Blueprint Reading: Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to ensure accurate installations.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose electrical issues efficiently and provide effective solutions to restore power and functionality.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients to explain work status and answer questions regarding electrical systems.
- Tool Management: Maintain and organize tools and equipment to ensure readiness for all job sites.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Valid Journeyman Electrician License in the state of New York.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in residential and/or commercial electrical work.
- Skills: Proficiency in reading electrical blueprints and using hand/power tools.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Reliability: Punctual, hardworking, and able to manage time effectively in a part-time capacity.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift heavy objects, work in various weather conditions, and stand for extended periods.
