Responsibilities
- Assist master electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams under supervision.
- Perform routine inspections and testing of electrical components to ensure safety compliance.
- Prepare work areas by laying out materials and ensuring a clean, organized environment.
- Handle and transport electrical materials and tools safely and efficiently.
- Document work completed and report any safety hazards or equipment issues immediately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and climb ladders or lift heavy equipment.
- Strong desire to learn the electrical trade with a focus on safety and quality.
- No prior experience is necessary; on-the-job training will be provided.
