Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians: Learn to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems under professional supervision.
- Read Blueprints: Interpret electrical drawings and schematics to understand circuit layouts and specifications.
- Tools & Safety: Utilize hand and power tools properly while strictly adhering to all OSHA safety regulations.
- Site Preparation: Prepare job sites by moving materials, clearing debris, and setting up temporary power.
- Fixture Installation: Help install lighting fixtures, outlets, switches, and circuit breakers in residential and commercial settings.
- Customer Service: Interact with clients professionally to explain work in progress and answer basic questions.
Qualifications
- No Experience Needed: We provide full training; you just need a strong willingness to learn and work hard.
- Valid Driver’s License: Must have a clean driving record and reliable transportation to job sites.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfortable with basic arithmetic for measuring and calculating materials.
- High School Diploma: Or equivalent GED certification preferred.
- Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team of tradespeople.
