Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters and masons with material handling and site preparation
- Operate power tools (saws, drills, sanders) safely and efficiently
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and adhere to OSHA standards
- Perform demolition, excavation, and debris removal tasks
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and project plans
- Collaborate with skilled trades to ensure timely project completion
- Inspect and maintain equipment/tools for optimal performance
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months construction or labor experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Strong attention to safety protocols and detail orientation
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and on uneven terrain
- Reliable transportation to job sites within King County
