Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams under supervision.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, strictly adhering to all OSHA safety standards.
- Perform basic site preparation, including mounting electrical boxes, running conduit, and pulling wire.
- Test electrical systems to ensure they function correctly and troubleshoot minor issues.
- Perform routine inspections and identify potential safety hazards.
- Keep tools and equipment organized and in good working condition.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation to the job site.
- Basic math skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely.
- Physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs, climbing ladders, and working in various weather conditions.
- Willingness to obtain required state certifications and licenses during employment.
- Strong desire to learn a trade and grow within the company.
