Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians: Support senior team members in residential and commercial electrical installations, including wiring, circuit installation, and lighting fixtures.
- Read Blueprints: Learn to interpret electrical plans and schematics to understand project requirements.
- Perform Safety Checks: Ensure all work areas are secure and adhere to OSHA safety standards.
- Tool Maintenance: Keep tools and equipment clean, organized, and in good working condition.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients, explaining work progress and maintaining a tidy workspace.
- Material Handling: Transport, store, and inventory electrical materials and supplies.
- Site Preparation: Help prepare job sites by moving equipment and clearing obstacles.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift 50+ lbs, stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
- Attitude: A strong desire to learn, attention to detail, and good problem-solving skills.
- Availability: Ability to work full-time hours, including weekends or overtime as needed.
- Communication: Basic verbal communication skills to understand and follow instructions.
- No Criminal Record: Must pass a background check.
