Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and lighting systems.
- Inspect electrical systems to identify hazards, defects, or the need for adjustment.
- Ensure all electrical work complies with local and national electrical codes.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot complex electrical issues.
- Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure timely project completion.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and OSHA regulations at all times.
Qualifications
- Certified Journeyman Electrician license required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in residential and commercial electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.
- Excellent ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Reliable transportation and basic set of hand tools.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
