Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with residential and commercial electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to understand project requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Use hand and power tools correctly and safely to perform basic electrical tasks.
- Perform basic troubleshooting on electrical systems and fixtures.
- Provide exceptional customer service to homeowners and business clients during service calls.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred but not strictly required.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation to job sites.
- Basic understanding of mathematics (essential for electrical calculations).
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and willingness to learn new skills.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
