Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians: Learn the trade from experienced professionals by performing hands-on tasks under supervision.
- Tool Operation: Learn to properly use and maintain hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
- Blueprint Reading: Begin to understand and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics.
- Work Area Maintenance: Keep job sites clean, organized, and safe in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Installation Support: Help with the installation of electrical systems, lighting, and outlets.
- Material Handling: Transport, load, and unload materials efficiently at job sites.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Experience: No prior experience required. A strong desire to learn the electrical trade is essential.
- License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in various weather conditions, and stand for extended periods.
- Skills: Basic math skills, good hand-eye coordination, and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
