Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with residential, commercial, and industrial installations and repairs.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams under supervision.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by properly storing tools and materials.
- Perform basic electrical tasks such as stripping wire, connecting terminals, and installing outlets and fixtures.
- Perform routine inspections and testing of electrical systems to ensure compliance with safety codes.
- Prepare job sites by setting up ladders, scaffolding, and workstations.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED (equivalent experience considered).
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs and working in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a desire to learn a trade.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
