Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians: Perform routine tasks such as pulling wire, drilling holes, and lifting materials as directed by senior staff.
- Install & Maintain Systems: Help install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, devices, and fixtures in residential and commercial settings.
- Read Blueprints: Learn to interpret basic electrical blueprints and schematics under supervision.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to ensure a safe work environment.
- Tool Management: Keep work areas clean and organized; properly handle and maintain electrical tools and equipment.
- Customer Interaction: Interact professionally with customers, explaining job progress and answering basic questions.
Qualifications
- No Prior Experience Required: High school diploma or GED is preferred but not mandatory; we value a strong willingness to learn.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and work on ladders or scaffolds for extended periods.
- Physical Strength: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and perform manual labor.
- Driver's License: Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record are required for travel to job sites.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfortable with basic measurements and fractions.
- Teamwork: Must be a self-starter who works well in a team environment.
