Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential, commercial, and industrial electrical systems.
- Perform basic wiring tasks, including running conduit, stripping wire, and terminating connections.
- Ensure all work areas are clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA safety standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to understand project requirements.
- Test electrical systems to ensure proper functionality and troubleshoot minor issues under supervision.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project status and requirements.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Willingness to obtain required state licensure and certifications within the apprenticeship period.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation for travel to job sites.
- Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and work in various environments, including confined spaces and heights.
- Basic math skills and attention to detail are essential for reading plans and measurements.
- A strong desire to learn the trade and a commitment to safety.
