While prior experience is a plus, we are primarily seeking candidates with a strong work ethic and a desire to master the electrical trade. We provide comprehensive on-the-job training and mentorship to help you grow from an entry-level apprentice to a certified Journeyman.

Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
- Learn and apply local and National Electrical Code (NEC) standards under supervision.
- Prepare job sites by gathering materials, tools, and equipment.
- Perform basic electrical tasks such as stripping wire, mounting fixtures, and terminating connections.
- Ensure all work areas remain clean, organized, and safe according to OSHA regulations.
- Document work orders and report material shortages to the foreman.
- Travel to various job sites within the Hampton Roads area.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- License: Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation required.
- Experience: No prior experience required. However, experience in construction, landscaping, or general handyman work is a plus.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Skills: Basic reading comprehension, ability to read a tape measure, and fundamental math skills.
- Attitude: Willingness to learn, punctual, and able to work independently when directed.
