Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair residential and commercial plumbing issues, including leaks, clogs, and burst pipes.
- Install and maintain plumbing fixtures such as sinks, toilets, water heaters, and faucets.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Ensure all work complies with local building codes and safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work vehicle and job site.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and providing accurate estimates.
- Assist senior plumbers with complex projects and learn new techniques.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in tight or uncomfortable spaces.
- Basic math skills for measuring and material calculations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn from experienced mentors.
