Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
- Perform basic electrical tasks such as stripping wires, installing outlets, and mounting fixtures under supervision.
- Ensure all work areas are clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA safety standards.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.
- Test electrical systems to ensure proper operation and safety.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- No prior electrical experience required; we provide on-the-job training.
- Must be available to work weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday).
- Physically able to lift at least 50 lbs and work in various environments (confined spaces, heights).
- Strong desire to learn and grow within the electrical trade.
- Valid driver’s license is a plus.
