As an Electrician Apprentice, you will work alongside our expert journeymen to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial properties throughout California.
Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
- Prepare work areas by laying out materials and tools according to blueprints and safety guidelines.
- Test electrical systems and continuity to ensure they are functioning properly.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on wiring, motors, and control panels.
- Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure project requirements are met.
- Keep the job site clean, organized, and safe at all times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Willingness to learn: No prior electrical experience is required, but a strong desire to master the trade is essential.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read a tape measure.
- Physically capable of standing for long periods, lifting heavy equipment, and working in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
