Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems and wiring.
- Perform routine inspections to ensure all electrical work meets local and national safety codes.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams to understand project requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site, ensuring tools and materials are stored safely.
- Respond to service calls in a timely manner and communicate effectively with clients.
- Learn to operate and troubleshoot various electrical testing equipment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and OSHA regulations at all times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED certificate.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills for reading measurements and calculating material quantities.
- Strong desire to learn and obtain an Electrical Journeyman license.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime when necessary.
