As a key member of our technical team, you will work alongside experienced journeyman electricians to learn the trade while contributing to essential projects across the region.
Responsibilities
- Install and maintain: Install electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures according to blueprints and local codes.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve electrical faults in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and others.
- Tools & Equipment: Utilize various electrical tools, including multimeters, drills, and conduit benders.
- Site Preparation: Prepare job sites by clearing debris and setting up temporary power as needed.
- Customer Service: Communicate effectively with clients and project managers to update on progress.
Qualifications
- Willingness to Learn: A strong desire to learn the electrical trade is the most important qualification.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, lift heavy objects, and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic Math: Good math skills for calculating measurements and materials.
- Teamwork: Ability to work effectively within a team of construction professionals.
- No Experience Needed: We train our own. High school diploma or GED preferred.
