Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of manual labor tasks, including digging, hauling, and lifting materials.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with daily operations.
- Load and unload construction materials from trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Measure, cut, and prepare building materials for installation.
- Operate basic construction equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
- Follow safety protocols and wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Qualifications
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods outdoors.
- Basic math skills for measuring and cutting materials accurately.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation to the job site.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are mandatory.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
