Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Prepare job sites by laying out materials, tools, and equipment in an organized manner.
- Install conduits, wires, junction boxes, and other electrical components according to blueprints and safety codes.
- Perform basic electrical testing and troubleshooting to ensure system functionality.
- Keep work areas clean, safe, and free of hazards at all times.
- Document all work completed and report daily progress to the site supervisor.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred, but a strong willingness to learn is the most important qualification.
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various environments (hot, cold, heights).
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel between job sites.
- No prior electrical experience is required; we are looking for eager candidates ready to train.
- Basic math skills are a plus for reading measurements and wire gauges.
- Must be detail-oriented and safety-conscious.
