Responsibilities
- Install and Repair: Perform high-quality residential and commercial electrical installations and repairs, including wiring, lighting, and circuit breaker upgrades.
- Blueprint Reading: Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate and code-compliant installations.
- Compliance & Safety: Adhere strictly to local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC) and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex electrical issues efficiently to minimize downtime for clients.
- Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems to prevent failures and extend equipment life.
- Customer Service: Communicate effectively with clients to explain technical details, provide estimates, and ensure satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent experience required.
- Education: High school diploma or GED; technical school certification is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in the electrical trade.
- Skills: Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment (multimeters, voltage testers) and hand tools.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- License: Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
