Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial buildings.
- Prepare work areas by laying out materials, tools, and equipment according to blueprints and safety regulations.
- Learn to read and interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, and blueprints under supervision.
- Perform basic wiring tasks, including pulling wire, stripping insulation, and connecting terminals.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace in compliance with OSHA safety standards.
- Operate hand and power tools correctly to complete assigned tasks efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding project status and any safety concerns.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- No prior electrical experience is necessary; we provide the training.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation are required.
- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills for calculating measurements and wire lengths.
- Willingness to obtain a Nevada Electrical Journeyman license upon completion of training.
