Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential/commercial properties
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure strict adherence to NEC and local safety regulations
- Diagnose electrical faults using advanced testing equipment
- Lead crews on complex electrical installations and renovations
- Manage inventory and order electrical materials efficiently
- Provide technical guidance to junior electricians
- Document all work with detailed reports and compliance forms
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Valid Illinois Electrician License (Journeyman or Master)
- OSHA 10/30 certification required
- Proficiency with conduit bending, transformers, and VFD systems
- Strong diagnostic skills for complex electrical troubleshooting
- Proven leadership experience with 3+ team members
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights/weekends
