Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial/residential properties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure full compliance with NEC, OSHA, and local regulations
- Diagnose electrical faults using advanced testing equipment
- Lead small teams on complex projects when assigned
- Manage inventory and material requisition for assigned sites
- Document all work with detailed reports and safety logs
Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Valid Journeyman Electrician license (DC required)
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Ability to work independently and in fast-paced environments
- Strong problem-solving skills under pressure
- Clean driving record and reliable transportation
- Flexibility for evening/weekend assignments
