Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, and power distribution in residential and commercial buildings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics to plan electrical layouts.
- Perform routine inspections to ensure all work meets local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Erect, assemble, and install electrical fixtures, apparatus, and control equipment.
- Collaborate with project managers and other trade professionals to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License or equivalent state certification.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and understand complex technical drawings.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions.
