Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair residential and commercial electrical systems, including wiring, fixtures, and control systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of electrical work.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure systems operate efficiently and safely.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical problems, identifying the root cause and implementing effective solutions.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC) and safety regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service, explaining complex technical issues to clients in an easy-to-understand manner.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman or Apprentice Electrician license (or equivalent certification).
- High school diploma or GED; technical trade school certification is a plus.
- Proven experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Strong understanding of electrical theory, circuitry, and power distribution.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision.
- Physically fit and able to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy materials and climbing ladders.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
