Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of electrical installation, maintenance, and repair tasks in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine layouts and wiring methods.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure safety protocols are followed.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical systems and equipment failures efficiently.
- Install and maintain lighting systems, circuit breakers, transformers, and other electrical components.
- Mentor junior electricians and provide on-the-job training when required.
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina Journeyman Electrician License (or equivalent) required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in the electrical trade.
- Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina to work in various environments, including heights, confined spaces, and outdoors.
- Must possess a valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
