Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and control systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan electrical layouts.
- Ensure all installations comply with local and national electrical codes (NEC) and safety regulations.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure equipment longevity.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical problems efficiently.
- Collaborate with construction teams and project managers to ensure project timelines are met.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all job sites.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License (J-Card) or Master Electrician license required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in the electrical trade.
- Strong working knowledge of electrical theory, circuits, and power distribution.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
- Excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to workplace safety.
