Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and control systems in residential and commercial properties.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical codes (NEC) to ensure compliance with Miami-Dade County regulations.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components using hand tools and power tools.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with OSHA safety standards and company protocols.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project timelines and job site status.
- Keep work areas clean and organized, ensuring proper disposal of waste materials.
Qualifications
- Valid Florida Electrical Contractor License or Journeyman Electrician License.
- High School Diploma or GED required; technical trade school certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in residential and commercial electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of electrical theory, circuitry, and power distribution.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
